The number of motorcycles owned and used in America has grown 19 percent since 2003, with a total of over 10.5 million on the roads and in the garages of Americans. In 2008, over 25 million people hopped onto a motorcycle, with Gen Y riders now outnumbering Baby Boomer riders for the first time.

HogFanatic.com looks long and hard at Harley-Davidson motorcycles, bringing you news, opinions and reader experiences with Harley dealerships and manufacturers all across the US.

We love Harleys and wanted to create a place where those who think the same way we do can get together and talk about what we love.

I'm also documenting my experiences as I research my own Harley-Davidson purchase and follow it up with everything that goes with being a Harley owner.
